Selected collections of organisms of the Biology Centre CAS are associated within the BCCO structure (Biology Centre Collection of Organisms).
The BCCO collections include for example wide variety of soil microorganisms, (arbo)viruses, helminths, or parasitic arthropods. Numerous isolates have been already well characterized taxonomically, physiologically, and metabolically. Detail information about the isolates and specimens can be found in the catalogues of the collections.
